Pousada Luar do Sertão was born from a dream of the couple Tatiana and Marcelo. Tatiana, a multi-artist with several courses in broad areas, brings her expertise to make the inn beautiful, with artisan and decorator touches in the details that stand out. Furthermore, as a landscaper born in Chapada Diamantina, she chooses the ornamentation of our natural area, creating a magical environment that provides peace and silence to our guests. On the other hand, Marcelo, who chose Chapada Diamantina to live in, brings I get the experience of guiding. Commitment to Sustainability

Since the beginning, in 2014, when we acquired the property and started investing in the structure and details, our concern with sustainability was constant. The inn is located in an area of ​​10,000m² with a vast forest of native vegetation, added to fruit species introduced by former owners. The Ribeirão do Meio trail, one of the most famous attractions in Lençóis, begins near the edge of our land. Therefore, our location is privileged, with no neighbors at the bottom of the land, which allows our forest to be directly linked to the Chapada Diamantina National Park. Daily, we receive visits from birds, tamarins, cicadas, crickets, frogs and other forest animals.

Growth and Comfort in the Surroundings of Nature

Initially, we started with three chalets that accommodate up to three people. Little by little, we increased our structure, adding another triple chalet and the space where we serve our meals breakfast. Later, other living spaces came, such as the pergola and the hammock, as well as two more chalets for couples. Currently, the inn has four coexistence fully integrated with nature, parking, four chalets that accommodate up to three people and two chalets for couples. All chalets are equipped with air conditioning, minibar, private bathroom, Wi-Fi internet and a delightful balcony.

Sustainable Practices and Social Responsibility

Since the beginning of our activities, adopting sustainability practices has been our biggest concern. We start with low-cost practices, such as separating solid waste for recycling and composting organic waste. In addition, we made progress with small investments, such as external lighting with motion sensors and LED lamps, rainwater collection, BET septic tank system, acquisition of low-consumption electronic devices and, finally, larger investments, such as photovoltaic panels for generating electricity. energy. We also adopt socially sustainable practices, purchasing consumer items from local producers and traders, recommending native guides and actively participating in volunteering with Lençóis Volunteer Brigade (BVL).
